Seattle Promise: Part Time and Deferment Request Form

Seattle Promise scholars are required to enroll full-time (12 credits or more) to maintain scholarship and program eligibility. Students may request enrollment flexibility.

If you need flexibility due to an extenuating life circumstance or reasons outside your control, Seattle Promise can provide flexibility to enroll part-time or take a quarter off (deferment) for the following reasons:

Caretaking responsibilities
Financial need
Medical need
Religious obligations
Administrative barriers

Students who do not meet one or more of those criteria are required to enroll full-time. Your student Success Specialist can support you with registration if you have questions.
